Basically, I decided to make this blog to keep people in the loop about my up and coming travels and to document them for myself. Hopefully, family and friends (and curious strangers I guess) will be able to keep up to date about where we’ll be and what we’ll be doing around Europe for the next month or so. So yea, hi Mum and Dad (and anyone else interested) I look forward to updating the few who’ll read this as I go!
a bit more info about why i wanna do this
At uni I was always getting distracted when reading for my assignments by googling the interesting places and events etc. that would come up. I realised that pretty much everywhere is interesting and that I want to see it all (well you know, like a lot). Recently as well I ended up following loads of people on instagram who have travelled to (or are trying to travel to) every country in the world and idk it was obviously inspiring or something. Even though I have wanted to make some sort of travel content, whether it be about the story of a place or just what I’m up to, I always just end up taking loads of pictures and doing nothing with them. This blog seems like a good first step in the right direction (and if I didn’t set this up I’d be kicking myself a year from now when I’d have forgotten it all!).
so to summarise
So to summarise, Holly (my gf) and I (me, Tim) are going round Europe for however many weeks and I am going to blog it to keep people in the loop and because I want to make some sort of interesting content. I’ll try not to be too lame (which is almost impossible as it’s a blog), I’ll try to make it interesting and I’ll try to actually keep up to date and on top of it! My next post will probably be about the actual plan and route and all that, but for now thanks for reading this far cya later!

I know that ‘The World Awaits’ is a bit over the top for what amounts to a couple of weeks in Europe but Holly bought a notebook with those three words on the front cover and it kinda stuck.
